It’s Tuesday night and you know what that means! The Stand & Deliver go-home episode of WWE NXT will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the April 2, 2024 episode.

WWE NXT Results (4/2/2024):

The show opens up with video footage from earlier today of Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams arriving to the WWE Performance Center. We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a WWE NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match as Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcomes us.

WWE NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match: LWO (Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) vs. Axiom and Nathan Frazer vs. The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)

The match starts off with Frazer and Wilde hitting stereo dives on Gallows and Anderson as they are making their way down to the ring. The bell rings and Gallows tries to toss Axiom in the air, but Axiom hits a dropkick on Anderson in the process. Axiom, Wilde and Anderson are now the legal men. Axiom hits Wilde with a Spanish Fly for a near fall. Frazer and Axiom then double team Wilde and Anderson. Axiom, Frazer, Wilde and Del Toro then fight up top and Anderson and Gallows break it up. Wilde and Del Toro then hit a double dropkick off the top rope to Gallows. Wilde then takes out the entire field with a sky twister press.

Axiom then hits a super Spanish Fly, but Wilde somehow manages to kick out. Frazer then hits a Frog Splash and Axiom follows it up with one of his own. Anderson then grabs Axiom for a powerbomb, but Axiom turns it into a Hurricanrana. Gallows then hits a boot on Wilde out of the air. Frazer and Axiom then slingshot Wilde off the top rope into a DDT on Gallows, but Anderson breaks up a near fall. All the participants except Gallows then lands a dive. Del Toro then misses a Phoenix Splash and Anderson and Gallows hit Del Toro with the Magic Killer, but Wilde breaks up the pin. Axiom then takes Gallows out with a dive. Frazer then hits Del Toro with a 450 splash for the win.

After the match, Axiom and Frazer are interviewed by Kelly Kincaid and say they will win the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles at NXT Stand & Deliver. WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin) then appear on the bird’s nest and hold up their titles.

We then see Lexis King sitting on his thrown cutting a promo on Von Wagner and Mr. Stone. King says Wagner cannot hang with him without Stone’s help.

We then head to the Performance Center parking lot, where we see WWE NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov notice that a boot has been put on his car. Associates of “The Don Of NXT” Tony D’Angelo then drive up next to him and tell him to get in their car instead as they will give him a ride to dinner with D’Angelo. The two guys then tell Dragunov that he does not want to keep The Don waiting. Dragunov then smirks and he gets in the car.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Fallon Henley vs. Jacy Jayne

The match starts off with Henley and Jayne locking up, but neither woman can get an advantage. After a distraction from James, Henley is knocked out of the ring by Jayne. Jayne then hits a baseball slide on Henley. Hail then loses it and has to be held back. Jayne then works over Henley, but Henley tries to get back in the match. James then tries to get involved again, but Hail rushes to the ring and dives through the ropes into James. Jayne then hits Henley with a running knee to the face for the win.

After the match, Jayne sends Hail a message from Gorilla position as NXT General Manager Ava listens from her spot. Ava tells Jayne to move it along and Jayne leaves with James, Dame and Nyx. Hail then storms in and demands a match with Jayne. Ava then makes a 6-Woman Tag Team Match official between Hail, Jordan and Henley vs. Jayne, Dame and James for Stand & Deliver.

We then get a video vignette of Josh Briggs’ new character and it is shown that he is now a “Man of Mayhem” or a biker.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Von Wagner vs. Lexis King

The match starts off with Wagner rushing to the ring and attacking King. Wagner then sends King into the barricade and King rolls into the ring. Wagner then tosses King clear across the ring and King sidesteps a charging Wagner. Wagner then gets sent to the ring post and King lands a running knee to Wagner’s head. King then works over Wagner.

King then places his boot into Wagner’s jaw and lands some strikes on him. King then follows it up with a twisting neckbreaker and goes for a pin, but Wagner kicks out. King then lands Hammer and Anvil elbows on Wagner. King then puts Wagner in a Sleeper hold, but Wagner escapes. King then hits Wagner with a superkick and a second kick, but Wagner nails King with a scoop powerslam and follows it up with a boot. Wagner then sends King crashing into the mat and chokeslams him onto the apron, then clears the announce desk and looks to powerbomb King through it. Both men then return to the ring and King hits Wagner with his Coronation finisher for the win.

We then head to the back, where we see NXT General Manager Ava inform Carmelo Hayes that she has told the referee for his Stand & Deliver Match with Trick Williams to be extra lenient. Ava then adds that she has extra referees and security present for his in-ring confrontation with Williams later tonight. Hayes then says they need to be ready because his personal security force will certainly be ready.

We then see Natalya giving Karmen Petrovic a pep talk for her match until Roxanne Perez interrupts. Perez insults Natalya and tells her that Perez no longer needs her or any of her other heroes.

We then see Arianna Grace and Wren Sinclair bicker over Gigi Dolin getting a pageant makeover. Grace takes offense to what Sinclair says and says those are fighting words. Grace then says she wants Sinclair in the ring tonight.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Karmen Petrovic vs. Lola Vice

The match starts off with Petrovic and Vice trading strikes. Petrovic then blasts Vice with a discus lariat for a near fall. Vice then counters an arm wringer with a spin kick. Vice then works over Petrovic, but Petrovic tries to get back in the match and delivers a flurry of strikes on Vice. Vice then kicks out of Petrovic’s spin kick. Petrovic then hits the ropes and gets knocked down with a spinning back fist. Vice then puts Petrovic in the Sharpshooter and stares a hole in Natalya as Petrovic taps out.

We then see WWE NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov get dropped off at the location of his dinner with “The Don Of NXT” Tony D’Angelo. Dragunov comes across several of D’Angelo’s associates working with power tools and he sits down at a table for two as D’Angelo and the rest of The Family arrive. D’Angelo then takes his seat.

Meta-Four are already in the ring as Noam Dar is about to host a new edition of the Supernova Sessions.

Noam Dar starts off by welcoming fans to The Supernova Sessions and says Stand & Deliver is only a few days out. Oro Mensah, Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend then brag about being the hosts of the PLE and Dar introduces Roxanne Perez and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria.

The champion and the challenger then make their way down to the ring and Perez says she can’t wait for Saturday because she will get back the title she never lost. Valkyria then tells Perez to stop and says she is sick of Perez saying the same thing over and over again. Valkyria also says Perez is not the NXT Women’s Champion because Indi Hartwell climbed a ladder faster than her. Valkyria then reminds Perez of all the times she has been unable to regain the title thus far and says she attributes those losses to other people.

Perez then tells Valkyria to stop talking like she knows her because she doesn’t. Perez then says she doesn’t know what it’s like to lose the NXT Women’s Championship, but she will on Saturday and Valkyria will be knocked off her high horse all the way down to the bottom. Perez then says she is a whole new version of her and she didn’t have it in her to snap at NXT Vengeance Day. Perez then says she does now and while Valkyria thinks losing the title broke her, it made her dangerous.

Valkyria then stands up and says Perez refers to the NXT Women’s Championship as her title when there have been titleholders since then such as Tiffany Stratton and Becky Lynch. Valkyria then says while she wins all Perez does is b***h and she will have a whole lot more to b***h about after Stand & Deliver. Perez then gets up to stare Valkyria down and tells her that she has a whole year of rage built up in her. Perez then says she will let it all out at Stand & Deliver. Both women then begin brawling, leading to Valkyria sending Perez crashing through the coffee table on The Supernova Sessions set.

We then get a video package hyping up Dijak. WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi watches from a monitor and sends a warning to Dijak ahead of their match at Stand & Deliver.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a non-title match.

Non-Title Match: WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi vs. Joe Gacy

The match starts off with Shawn Spears blindsiding Joe Gacy on the ramp and hitting him with a chair. Femi then sends Gacy in the ring and the bell sounds. Gacy delivers right hands to Femi, but Femi responds with a backbreaker and an elbow drop. Femi then delivers a right hand on Gacy, then follows it up with a couple of running uppercuts in opposite corners. Both men then end up on the outside and Gacy charges at Femi on the apron. Femi then hits Gacy with a clothesline. Both men then get back inside the ring and Gacy hits a suplex on Femi. Gacy then hits a springboard moonsault on Femi and goes for The Upside Down, but Femi avoids it and sends Gacy crashing into the mat. The referee then checks on Gacy and decides to stop the match.

The non-title match ends in a no contest!

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Arianna Grace vs. Wren Sinclair

The match starts off with Sinclair tripping Grace, then following it up with a dropkick. Grace then responds with a series of stomps in the corner and locks in a Boston Crab, but Sinclair escapes and lands some kicks on Grace. Sinclair then hits a clothesline on Grace and a crossbody, but Grace rolls Sinclair up with her hand on the bottom rope for the win.

We then head back to WWE NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and “The Don Of NXT” Tony D’Angelo. Dragunov says he thinks the depths D’Angelo is willing to go are impressive, then says he was shocked by the location D’Angelo chose to invite him to. D’Angelo then says the place they are in doesn’t represent the end of him, but the end of his NXT Championship reign. D’Angelo then says if Dragunov thinks what he has done so far is impressive, then he has no idea what’s in store for Saturday. Dragunov then says nothing will stop him from being NXT Champion and D’Angelo grabs his hand. D’Angelo then tells Dragunov that he could have taken him out at any point since he walked into the building and he could do it now, but he wants to wait until Saturday for the whole world to see. D’Angelo then tells Dragunov it’s just business and nothing personal. Dragunov is then served a meal and D’Angelo tells him to enjoy his last supper.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Sol Ruca vs. Blair Davenport

The match starts off with Davenport hitting a dropkick on Ruca into the corner. Ruca then responds with a kick of her own and an arm drag, but Davenport blasts her with a few right hands. Ruca then sends Davenport crashing into the mat, then follows it up with a moonsault and a facebuster. Ruca then clotheslines Davenport out of the ring, then hits a kick on Davenport off the apron and charges at her in the corner. Davenport then sends Ruca crashing into the ring steps face first.

Ruca then hits three shoulder tackles on Davenport. Davenport then hits Ruca with a boot to her midsection, but both women are sent crashing out of the ring. Both women then return to the ring and Davenport hits a suplex on Ruca. Ruca then sends Davenport crashing into the middle turnbuckle, then climbs to the top rope and hits a variation of the DDT on Davenport from the top. Davenport then sends Ruca crashing into the mat, then looks to land a knee, but Ruca counters into a roll up for the win.

We then head to the back, where Dijak and Josh Briggs are bickering over which one of them will win the WWE NXT North American Championship. WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi then walks in and vows to retain at Stand & Deliver.

We then see NXT General Manager Ava in her office when Joe Gacy suddenly shows up. Gacy says he wants a match on Saturday against Shawn Spears. Ava then books it on the spot and the match is official for Stand & Deliver.

Carmelo Hayes makes his way down to the ring first for the face-off with Trick Williams and he is flanked by his security. Trick Williams then makes his way down to the ring next and starts off by saying this wasn’t supposed to be this way. Williams then says that they are going to be the first two black men to main event during WrestleMania weekend. As soon as Hayes speaks, the crowd boos. Hayes says they had it all until Williams ruined it. Hayes then says this is all on Williams as Williams went after the NXT Championship when he knew Hayes was trying to get it back.

Hayes then says the people may love Williams now, but they will switch up on him like Nintendo. Hayes then says when he shoots, he don’t miss. Williams then says at Stand & Deliver the people will be yelling, Whoop That Trick. Hayes then takes a swing at Williams and huge brawl breaks out. Security are unable to separate Williams and Hayes. The locker room then clears and everyone tries to pull Hayes and Williams apart, but Hayes and Williams still continue brawling as the show comes to a close.
