Mercedes Mone burst on the wrestling scene with a massive resurgence in AEW after making her grand debut at AEW Big Business a few weeks ago and it seems she already has her sights set on a prize in the All Elite landscape.

The CEO of women’s wrestling was on the commentary desk for tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite as she oversaw the high-stakes 4-way match between Willow Nightingale, Skye Blue, Anna Jay, and Kris Statlander with the winner earning an AEW TBS championship match against Julia Hart.

The fans in attendance alongside Mercedes Mone witnessed one of the most exciting bouts in the women’s division in recent memory. In the end, it was the dominant Willow Nightingale who reigned supreme and scored the victory to get the title opportunity.

Noticeably, she locked eyes with her former rival, Mercedes Mone who suffered career-threatening injury during a bout with Willow back in May 2023 before being attacked by Julia Hart cutting short her celebrations.

Mercedes Mone observed the scene, without getting physically involved in the proceedings. She later took to her X to break silence, congratulating Willow Nightingale on her win, while dropping hints about a certain prize she had eyes on.

“Congratulations @willowwrestles on winning #1 contender for the TBS championship. I also have my eyes on certain prize! #CEO#AEWDynamite.”

With Mercedes Mone’s latest hint drop, it will be interesting to see if the CEO was referring to the AEW TBS championship and possibly using her star power and stature to insert herself into the same match that would kick off her AEW run in spectacular fashion.
