WWE 2K24 was released earlier this month and it has certainly lived up to expectations in a big way already. However, there appears to be quite a number of WWE Superstars who have been removed from the game entirely.

Several stars who were initially included in the files of WWE 2K24 seem to have been removed from the final version of the game. Unused renders for WWE 2K24 within the game’s files, indicate that these stars were planned to appear in the game at some point during its development. These renders featured both current and former stars, raising questions about why they were ultimately excluded from the final release.

The leftover renders discovered in the files of WWE 2K24 include a wide range of names, such as AEW’s Adam Copeland (Edge), Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks), TNA’s Ash By Elegance (Dana Brooke), James Drake (Jagger Reid), AJ Francis (Top Dolla), and Mustafa Ali.

Additionally, notable names not currently employed by WWE were also found in the game’s files, including Matt Riddle, Brie Bella, Emma, Mace, Mansoor, and Lacey Evans, who even has a complete model within the game’s files.

In addition to former WWE stars, numerous current WWE employees also had renders in the game, including NXT’s Eddy Thorpe and Jakara Jackson, as well as the already announced future DLC character Nia Jax. Furthermore, there were renders for older versions of existing stars already featured in the game, such as Seth Rollins and Triple H.

While a lot of the aforementioned names who are working in other companies were expected to not be included in the game, the likes of Eddy Thorpe and Jakara Jackson not being included has perplexed fans. Nevertheless, fans can hope they will be included in next year’s game.
