The signing of Mercedes Mone has brought about a significant transformation in the landscape of AEW. As one of the most prominent figures in the history of the Jacksonville-based promotion, her arrival has created considerable buzz. Bayley was in attendance for her debut, and now she has commented on it as well.

Just before the event commenced, speculation circulated that Bayley and Naomi would attend Big Business to show their support for their friend. WWE star Bayley was confirmed to have attended The TD Garden, surprising fans worldwide. Photos of the former Women’s Champion have emerged online, indicating that she was at the event to support her best friend, Mone.

While speaking to Digital Spy, Bayley expressed her thoughts on Mercedes’ debut at Big Business and her attendance at the event.

“[Mercedes] is the best, I wouldn’t be here without her, she’s done so much for me. Even after she was done with WWE, she’s been there for me in my big moments. So I know I need to be there for her continuously throughout the years.”

“It’s bittersweet, but I’m very, very proud of her and just so grateful we got to be there.”

Mercedes Mone also credited the AEW women’s division for her move to the promotion. Therefore, it remains to be seen just how much Mercedes Mone will ultimately benefit AEW in the long run.
