Kazuchika Okada made his way to AEW a couple of weeks ago and instantly made an impact. He also defeated Eddie Kingston for the AEW Continental Championship on Dynamite this week and has broken his silence on the matter.
The match lived up to its promise, as Okada and Kingston displayed contrasting in-ring styles in a captivating display for fans in Toronto, Canada, and viewers worldwide. Filled with suspenseful near falls, awe-inspiring maneuvers, and intense moments, the bout lived up to the hype surrounding their clash.
When all was said and done, Kazuchika Okada toppled Eddie Kingston to become the new AEW Continental Champion. Following his triumphant victory, The Rainmaker took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself with his new title, as he acknowledged his major accomplishment.
”I did it! Continental Champion!”
It remains to be seen whether Kazuchika Okada will be able to enjoy a solid run as the AEW Continental Champion, as fans certainly want The Rainmaker to succeed in every single way.
