Logan Paul has been one of the fastest rising stars in WWE currently. Not only has he been incredible with his in-ring performances, but WWE has also put a lot of faith in him with other corporate related stuff. Last week on Friday Night Smackdown, the Maverick announced that WWE and Prime had partnered for deal to become the first ring mat sponsor of the company.

On the most recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast, the United States Champion also announced that Summerslam 2024 was set to be hosted in the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on August 3

Following the announcement, millions around the world were shocked to see the kind of faith they had in the Maverick using him for numerous major announcements rather than doing it themselves. During the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on Paul’s position in the company.

While Paul growing up in Cleveland was a massive factor, it was also stated that it was a different decision that WWE. They were seemingly trying to do something different with Paul making the announcement.

Yeah, it was a different, another executive decision trying to do something different instead of releasing it to the regular media, have Logan Paul make the announcement and have the press release right after. Also, the fact that Logan Paul grew up Cleveland, it makes sense.”

As announced on the 3/15 episode of Smackdown, Logan Paul is set to defend his United States Championship against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton in triple threat match at WrestleMania 40. With the faith WWE has in Paul, him retaining the title at the Grandest Stage of them All won’t be a surprise.
