Maryse Undergoes Surgery After Pre-Cancer Diagnosis

Maryse, a former WWE Women’s Champion and the spouse of The Miz, recently shared a startling and distressing account on her Instagram. She disclosed being diagnosed with a pre-cancerous condition. She has since given a long-awaited update on her current condition.

Recently, the 41-year-old received a diagnosis of a rare pre-cancerous condition that impacts the ovaries. Maryse shared on social media that she underwent laparoscopy surgery, during which the doctor identified and removed 11 implants situated around her uterus, ovaries, and connective tissues in her abdominal cavity.

These implants were identified as Serous Borderline Tumors, an exceptionally uncommon pre-cancerous condition affecting the ovaries.

The former champion took to Instagram stories today to share a health update with her followers. Maryse revealed that she underwent surgery for her condition and that the surgery was a success.

‘‘My surgery went well and I’m recovering! I am so beyond appreciated and touched by all your messages.”

Maryse’s journey serves as a reminder of the crucial nature of seeking medical attention for unusual symptoms and persisting in advocating for one’s health.
