Nia Jax Chokes Referee During Dark Match Against Becky Lynch After 3/8 WWE Smackdown

The 3/8 episode of Friday Night Smackdown was headlined by the iconic face-off between the duo of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes against the Rock and Roman Reigns. However, WWE managed to keep the night action-packed for the sold out crowd in Dallas, Texas with some of the most interesting storylines heating up ahead of WrestleMania. 

While the show featured numerous matches, a few matches were also showcased after Smackdown went off-air. One of the biggest dark matches from the evening featured Becky Lynch facing Nia Jax to continue her rivalry. 

In yet another exciting match between both women, their star power turned out to be magnificent enough to keep the crowd excited. The Man turned out to be victorious after putting Jax through the table. 

However, fan footage has emerged revealing that following her match, while Lynch was cutting a promo to end the show, Nia Jax choked out referee outside the ring. While this might not be addressed on TV, something like this would have been punished with a massive fine on the star. 

While Nia Jax would like to continue her story with Becky Lynch, the latter has a lot to focus on. Lynch is scheduled to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania. However, before that, the Man goes one-on-one with Liv Morgan on this week’s WWE Raw.
