Booker T Calls The Attitude Era Better Than The Current Era of Wrestling

The boom in the wrestling industry has helped numerous promotions get attention from fans. However, WWE has managed to become the reason the industry has been on an all-time high lately. With WrestleMania incoming, WWE has been the hottest it has been in years. 

While some believe it is all because of the Rock’s return, millions tag every single storyline as the reason. The current era of wrestling has also been compared to the Attitude Era with millions finding this better than the past. 

During a recent episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T also addressed the debate. While the Hall of Famer didn’t deny the excellence that is being showcased on WWE TV every week ahead of the Grandest Stage of them All, he stood by the Attitude Era in the debate. 

“To me though, the Attitude Era was the best era I think in wrestling of all time. But I do think the WWE right now is trying to get back to that just a little bit, of course with The Bloodline storyline, and of course now with The Rock coming back.”

While Booker T’s opinion of the Bloodline being a massive reason for WWE’s recent success can’t be denied, other stars and storylines also have a tremendous contribution in this.
