Sting and Darby Allin won the AEW Tag Team Championships last month and put their titles on the line against The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution. The bout was an incredible one, to say the least, and it included a horrific spot featuring Darby Allin. Unsurprisingly, Allin required multiple stitches after the horrific spot.

At the AEW Revolution pay-per-view’s main event, Sting and Darby Allin successfully defended their AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks. The match, filled with callbacks and emotional moments, created a memorable experience for the fans in attendance. Ultimately, Sting and Darby Allin retained their titles, marking Sting’s retirement with an undefeated record.

In Sting’s retirement match at AEW Revolution, Darby Allin’s daring move involved diving from a ladder through a glass panel inside the ring. His entire back was covered with blood after the spot.

Brian Alvarez shared on Wrestling Observer Radio that Allin needed just twelve stitches following this high-impact moment. This will likely come as a surprise for many who felt he would have suffered a much more serious injury.

Darby Allin’s reckless abandon for himself will never fail to ignite discussions, as many fans feel he should stop doing such spots, which could potentially ruin his career. Nevertheless, Darby Allin will continue to do what he wants and fans will simply hope he doesn’t end up prematurely ending his career due to his insane stunts.
