Rey Fenix’s In-Ring Return Date Seemingly Confirmed

Several AEW stars, including notable names, are currently injured. Fenix is actively working on his recovery to make a swift return to the ring. In fact, his in-ring return date has now been confirmed.

During the AEW WrestleDream event, Rey Fenix briefly participated in the AEW World Tag Team Fatal-Four Way Number One Contender Match but was escorted backstage due to an “old injury.”

Despite this setback, Fenix had intended to defend the AEW International Championship. He has been out of action for over three months since losing the title to Orange Cassidy on an October episode of Dynamite.

Penta El Zero Miedo, Fenix’s brother, has hinted that Fenix will be medically cleared for a match on May 5. He issued a challenge for a match on the Cinco de Mayo event hosted by House of Glory Wrestling during the HOG Reckoning on March 2.

We will have to wait and see whether Rey Fenix will be ready to make his triumphant return to the squared circle by May 2nd, as fans would more than love to see him Mexican star back in action.
