Former WWE Star Campaigns for Inclusion in WWE 2K24 Video Game

WWE 2K24 will be the latest game in the 2K series of games that began with the release of WWE 2K14 a decade ago. The latest edition of the video game will see one of the series’ largest-ever rosters, with many wrestling legends making an appearance. Amidst the mounting anticipation, former WWE Superstar Kelly Kelly shared that she wants to be included as playable character in the game.

With four decades of WWE history on display in WWE 2K24, not everyone can be included in the next video game. However, Kelly Kelly’s name recently started trending on social media as supporters pushed for her to be included in the game. Soon after, Kelly took to Twitter/ X and said that she would love to be part of WWE 2K24.

Kelly Kelly’s legacy in video games dates back to her time with WWE, where she appeared in six different titles. Her in-game debut came in SmackDown Vs. Raw 2008, and she continued to feature in subsequent releases like SVR 2009, 2010, and 2011, as well as WWE ’12 and WWE ’13 after the series rebranded.

It should be noted, the excitement surrounding WWE 2K24 was dampened by the fact that several major stars were absent from the first roster release. Among them was two-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, who will compete for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. Fortunately, 2K promptly corrected their mistake, recognizing it as a simple error and putting McIntyre and others on revised rosters.
