WrestleMania 40 is being dubbed as the Biggest WrestleMania in the history of WWE. While the card is yet to be finalised, the immense success on the Road to WrestleMania have made it believable. With some intense storylines and exciting matches being planned for the Showcase of Immortals, the excitement seems to be out of the park.

However, big names like CM Punk and Charlotte Flair are going to miss the premium live event, thanks to their injuries which is set to keep them out of action for months. Though the WWE Universe was disheartened to find out their absence for WrestleMania, The Rock’s return has got things back on track.

However, The Rock might not be the only big Hollywood name to make his presence felt at WrestleMania 40. 16-time World Champion John Cena is also being planned to be a part of the premium live event. Though his previous commitments might make it harder to get him on board, WWE is reportedly trying to make it happen.

Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that WWE are trying to get John Cena for WrestleMania 40. However, him being in action might not be necessary for the appearance. WWE wants to get Cena in for the Showcase of Immortals ‘to do something’.

With a light of hope coming in, John Cena’s presence at WrestleMania 40 can’t be ruled out completely. While nothing is confirmed as of now, the Greatest of All Time would love to make it to Philadelphia in time for the Showcase of Immortals.
