Jeff Hardy hasn’t had the best of luck lately in AEW, as he recently suffered an injury at the hands of Sammy Guevara. In light of this incident, RVD believes Guevara owes accountability for Hardy’s injury.

As previously mentioned, Sammy Guevara faced Jeff Hardy in a singles match during last week’s AEW Rampage tapings. Unfortunately, the match raised concerns about Hardy possibly suffering a concussion, as Guevara’s knee made contact with Hardy’s face during the bout.

While speaking on his 1 Of Kind podcast, WWE Hall of Famer RVD talked about Sammy Guevara injuring Jeff Hardy last week. RVD stated that he believes Guevara owes accountability for Hardy’s injury.

“That’s why they call it a high-risk move. I’m not throwing shade on anybody because accidents happen. God knows I’ve potatoed people in my matches but that’s on Sammy, completely. That’s a high-risk move,” Van Dam said before adding,”When you f*** it up, it’s on you.”

Jeff Hardy ultimately suffered broken nose due to the move. Eric Bischoff accused AEW’s culture of high-risk moves for the injury as well. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see when Hardy will return to in-ring action and hopefully, not get hurt again.
