Jey Uso Shows Off Battle Scars After 2/19 WWE RAW

Jey Uso has become one of the top babyfaces on WWE television right now and he had a big title match on RAW this week against Gunther. The outcome wasn’t the one he intended, but he did show off his battle scars after the show.

During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso took on Gunther in a challenge for the Intercontinental Championship. As the match approached its conclusion, Uso delivered five spears to Gunther and followed up with the Uso splash.

Approaching victory, Jimmy Uso created a distraction by appearing ringside and incessantly ringing the bell. The resulting chaos gave Gunther the chance to regroup and take advantage of the situation, thus retaining his title.

The match was a very brutal affair as Gunther hit his chops on Jey Uso numerous times. Jey Uso took to his Instagram story and uploaded a photo of his chest, which was full of welts thanks to Gunther’s chops.

WWE also made a last-minute change to Jey Uso’s match against Gunther. Nevertheless, it is clear Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso is now the plan for WrestleMania 40, so we’ll have to see how they will book the feud in the coming weeks.
