Daniel “Cash” Wheeler is scheduled for an arraignment tomorrow at the Orange County Court in Florida.

Wheeler was arrested in August 2023 following warrant issued on 7/28/23. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of aggravated assault with a firearm through his attorney with the Orange County Circuit Court on 8/3/23. Wheeler turned himself in on 8/17/23 and was arraigned the next day, although another arraignment is listed for tomorrow.

During the initial arraignment, the prosecution described the July 2023 incident leading to Wheeler’s arrest as a “road rage incident” where Wheeler allegedly brandished a gun at the other party. Wheeler’s attorney stated during the arraignment that Wheeler did not know the other party, with the word “victims” used in plural during the proceedings.

There had been no significant developments in the case since the initial arraignment until decision was made on 2/1 to proceed with the charges. A conviction for aggravated assault with a firearm under Florida law could result in up to five years’ imprisonment, five years’ probation, and a $5,000 fine.
