WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H has ignited anticipation for what he dubs “the biggest threat yet” to the current WWE Intercontinental Champion, GUNTHER.
During the February 12 broadcast of WWE Raw, Jey Uso and The New Day emerged victorious over Imperium, with Jey securing the pinfall victory over Giovanni Vinci.
Post-match, it was revealed that Uso is set to challenge GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship on the upcoming February 19 episode of Raw.
Taking to social media on February 18, WWE CCO Triple H shared a hype video for the impending showdown between GUNTHER and Jey Uso for the Intercontinental Title on Raw. His caption reads:
“A historic reign just may have met its biggest threat yet…
@Gunther_AUT defends his #ICTitle against ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso tomorrow night LIVE on #WWERaw, 8/7c on @USANetwork”
Additionally, Monday’s show will feature a one-on-one clash between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, along with The Judgment Day squaring off against R-Truth, The Miz, and DIY in an explosive eight-man tag team encounter. As a reminder, Ringside News will have live coverage of the event.
