WWE has undergone quite a few changes over the past couple of years, especially after Triple H took over as the Head of WWE Creative. Some changes have been noticeable by fans, especially the lack of titantrons. The reason for the absence of titantrons has now been revealed.

WWE’s production values are second to none and no one can argue with that fact. One of the most common and crucial things fans took for granted were titantron videos over the past several years. However, WWE has more or less done away with such videos lately.

While speaking on the Fightful Select Backstage Q&A Podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about the lack of WWE titantrons. Sapp provided theory that he was told suggesting that the focus was shifted from the videos to the talent. However, it was mentioned that they still have a person producing the videos and have multiple available if needed, to the best of my understanding.

”I can tell you the theory I got from somebody. They believe that they wanted the talent focused on as opposed to the videos. That being said, they do have a person that produces them and have several if they need them, if I understand.”

With WrestleMania 40 just around the corner, we will have to wait and see whether the company will bring back titantrons, even if it is just for the Showcase of The Immortals.
