Umaga tragically passed away on December 4th, 2009, years before his time was really supposed to be up. His legacy is being carried on by his son Zilla Fatu, who ended up leaving Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling last year. However, Fatu will be returning to the promotion after reconciling with Booker T.
Outside WWE, there are quite a few members of the Anoa’i family that are successful in pro wrestling. Zilla Fatu joined Booker T’s wrestling school Reality of Wrestling back in December 2022. Fatu parted ways with the promotion last year over “irreconcilable differences.”
With that said, Zilla Fatu seems to have reconciled with the WWE Hall of Famer, as he took to Twitter and announced that he will be returning to Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion.
”After heartfelt discussions, Booker T and I have reconciled. It’s with genuine excitement I announce my return to Reality Of Wrestling. Looking forward to creating unforgettable moments together. #ROW #NewBeginnings 🤼♂️ @BookerT5x @TheOfficialROW”
Zilla Fatu was spotted at the Royal Rumble last month as well. Nonetheless, it remains to be seen whether this means he will eventually make his way to WWE, as he could certainly prosper there.
