AEW has quite a few talented stars who are not only competing in the ring, but also helping out in non-wrestling affairs as well. In light of this, a notable NJPW star has now become an AEW office staff member.

Rocky Romero from NJPW has recently transitioned to AEW in an office role, as reported. He debuted for AEW in May 2021 and has since made various on-screen appearances, including a recent one on Rampage where he teamed up with Orange Cassidy & Trent Berreta against The Undisputed Kingdom.

The individual who previously acted as a liaison for NJPW is now assuming a front-office position in AEW, as reported by the F4W Online Daily Update. Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful also confirmed the same on Twitter.

Having previously secured the title of IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships eight times, Romero currently holds the MLW World Middleweight Champion title and has been a three-time CMLL World Super Lightweight Champion. We will have to wait and see whether he will benefit AEW in the long run in his new position.
