A young talent once hailed as the ‘young Randy Orton’ by a fellow NXT roster member has made a notable return to the ring after a prolonged absence.

At a WWE NXT live event held in Venice, FL on February 10, 25-year-old prospect Kale Dixon marked his comeback by facing off against Myles Borne of the No Quarter Catch Crew in a singles match.

Despite Dixon’s valiant effort, Borne emerged victorious in the encounter. Nevertheless, Dixon’s return is a promising development following his extended hiatus from competition.

While the exact reasons behind Dixon’s absence remain undisclosed, fans had previously expressed confusion over his absence from the 2024 NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament. In response, Dixon acknowledged the support from fans but emphasized that he didn’t require a tournament to establish his presence in the wrestling scene.

Having made his WWE debut back in November 2022, Dixon has predominantly competed on NXT LevelUp and various NXT live shows since then, showcasing his skills and potential to the audience.

How do you think Kale Dixon’s return will impact the NXT roster? Do you believe he has the potential to fulfill the expectations previously set for him as the ‘young Randy Orton’?
