Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes Status for 2/9 WWE SmackDown Episode Revealed

The conclusion of the WrestleMania XL Press Event left fans wanting more after the controversial way it ended.

A scuffle broke out between The Rock and Cody Rhodes after the former slapped the American Nightmare for invoking his ancestor’s name. Following the conclusion of the event, pissed-off Rock informed Triple H to “fix” this.

This conclusion got a lot of fans excited for SmackDown tonight. Those wanting to witness the aftermath of the press event will have to wait longer. PWInsider Elite is now reporting that the American Nightmare is in Charlotte which is the venue for SmackDown while there’s no indication that Roman Reigns will make an appearance tonight.

There has also been no confirmation on whether The Rock will make an appearance tonight. However, fans can take solace in the fact that Randy Orton is expected to return to SmackDown tonight after his absence last week.

While fans will be disappointed that there may not be any confrontation between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns tonight, they can find that at least Cody will address the controversial ending at the WrestleMania XL Press Event.
