Rhea Ripley has surely made her mark in WWE’s history. She has proved her talent in WWE after claiming multiple titles. At WrestleMania 39, Rhea gave an action-packed performance against Charlotte Flair. The bout turned to be one of the best in event with Rhea emerging victorious. However, Rhea believes she deserved more.

In a recent interview with Sam Roberts on NotSamWrestling, Rhea opened up about her mindset going into WrestleMania 39. She shared that she wanted to steal the show and leave everything she had in the ring. She asserted that both her and Flair were stepping into the ring determined to deliver an amazing performance.

“Yeah. I think, especially because the build up to WrestleMania wasn’t exactly how I imagined it. The mentality that I had, and I think Charlotte had because I felt it out there, we wanted to go into that match and leave everything we had in that ring. We didn’t want to leave with any energy, anything feeling half decent. We just wanted to go out there and steal the show.

Normally, when you win the Rumble, you get the main event spot. Build wasn’t there, other one was, completely understand it. I think the boys really deserved that main event spot. We wanted to go out there and prove that, with a proper build, we could have had that spot and we could have stolen the whole entire show and knocked it off with such a perfect match. That’s what we did. We went out there and absolutely destroyed each other,”

However, she didn’t hold any grudges as she acknowledged that Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs. The Usos rightfully deserved their spot.

It should be noted, Rhea’s match against Flair turned out to be the highlight at WrestleMania 39. Their dedication to the sport is a testament to how good both competitors are inside the squared circle. We’ll have to want and see what Rhea does next in WWE. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more.
