Jordynne Grace became the second woman in TNA to crossover to WWE after she made surprise appearance in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match. However, the impression was completely different when the talent first met her for the rehearsals.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select recently revealed on his Backstage Report Q&A update that Grace was greeted with a warm response by the WWE talent upon her arrival for the Royal Rumble match rehearsals. However, multiple talents were under the impression that she had signed a contract with the Stamford-based promotion.

The TNA Knockouts champion cleared the air in the moment, telling them that she was there to represent her current promotion in a cross-over deal between WWE and TNA.

“When she got her blood work done on Monday, then showed up at rehearsals on Thursday. People were congratulating her on signing with WWE and she was like no TNA.”

Sean Ross Sapp also noted that Jordynne Grace was under contract with TNA until the next year, so moving to a different promotion is ruled out for the next 365 days for her.

As previously noted, Triple H mentioned during the Royal Rumble post-media scrum that Big Momma Pump was a remarkable talent, the could potentially spark a future interest for WWE to sign one of the most talented female competitors in the wrestling industry.
