Sami Zayn Declares The Rock Fortunate To Be Part of WWE After 2/2 SmackDown

Sami Zayn has been on a roll this past year, as he remains one of WWE’s biggest babyfaces. He also witnessed The Rock’s return on SmackDown and stated that The Rock is lucky to be a part of WWE.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw The Rock returning and confronting Roman Reigns, prior to which Cody Rhodes made it clear he won’t challenge Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

After this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown went off the air, Sami Zayn cut a promo on the crowd and stated that The Rock is lucky to have WWE before he said the current generation of WWE is the best when it comes to in-ring performers.

”It’s awesome to have The Rock. We’re lucky to have him. But you know, The Rock is lucky to have the WWE, too. Because we are living in the best time with the best Superstars in the WWE.”

”For years and years, our generation, we have constantly listened to people talking about the good ol’ days. Well I got news for you, tonight 10,000 people sold out this building in birmingham. The scene of the best performers in the world. So I have news for you, the good ol’ days are right here and right now.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE will book Roman Reigns and The Rock’s feud in the coming weeks, as we slowly approach WrestleMania 40. Needless to say, a lot of fans aren’t necessarily happy about this direction.
