There are several AEW stars are currently sidelined due to injuries, including some notable names. Despite being out of action, Fenix is actively working towards recovery, aiming to return to the ring as soon as possible. Now, Fenix has disclosed his injury progress during his in-ring hiatus.

Fenix has been absent from the ring for over three months, with his last match being the loss of the AEW International Championship to Orange Cassidy on an episode of Dynamite in October.

Before vacating the title, Fenix revealed on social media that he had been dealing with an “old injury” that had been causing discomfort since winning the championship from Jon Moxley in September. Despite the pain from the injury, Fenix expressed his commitment to defending the International title.

While he remains absent during his in-ring hiatus, Rey Fenix took to Twitter and provided an update on his condition, revealing that he is still adjusting to his new hip.
