Cody Rhodes Reacts To Possibility of Winner Take All Match at WrestleMania 40

Cody Rhodes has the opportunity once again to finish his story this year on the Grandest Stage of them all, WrestleMania 40. However, Rhodes seems to be open to make the story ending even grander.

A user on X pitched an idea for a Winner Take All world championship match for Night 2 of WrestleMania in Philidelphia. The scenario he pointed towards would see World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins retain his title on Night 1 against a different opponent, while Cody would have selected Roman Reigns as his Mania opponent.

The next night’s main event would then also feature Rollins in the scheduled Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes match for the Undisputed WWE Universal championship. That would make the match a triple-threat bout with both World titles up for grabs.

The American Nightmare noticed the pitch and took to his X to react to the possibility of this mega showdown for WrestleMania 40.

Cody Rhodes made his intentions clear, right after winning the 2024 Royal Rumble match that he wanted to go head-to-head with Roman Reigns at The Show of Shows. However, recent encounter with Seth Rollins on RAW and his continued persuasion has made The Prodigal Son reconsider his decision in regards to which world champion he would choose.
