WWE has undergone quite a few changes over the years, namely due to the fact they are finally working with other promotions. That said, Triple H stated that the Forbidden Door term is simply silly.

The Forbidden Door concept has largely been prevalent thanks to AEW’s partnership with various companies such as TNA and NJPW over the years. In fact, they even have their own pay-per-view called NJPW x AEW Forbidden Door event.

While speaking during the post-Royal Rumble Premium Live Event press conference, Triple H talked about Jordynne Grace’s debut in the Rumble. Triple H decided to knock on the term ‘Forbidden Door’ and stated that it is silly.

”It’s exciting to just being able to branch out and I’m not gonna use a cliched term of what door people go through, because it’s stupid and silly.”
