Viewership numbers are in for the January 24, 2024 episode of Dynamite and they don’t appear to be that good.

As per data from Wrestlenomics, the viewership for AEW Dynamite on January 24th saw a slight decline, with a total of 837,000 viewers tuning in. This figure is lower compared to the 891,000 viewers who watched the show the previous Wednesday.

In terms of the key demographic of viewers aged 18 to 49, Wednesday’s episode achieved a rating of 0.27. This rating represents a decrease from the 0.33 demo rating that AEW Dynamite secured on January 17th.

Despite the dip in viewership and demographic rating, AEW Dynamite managed to secure the second-highest spot in the cable television rankings, with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo taking the top spot.

The event was headlined by Adam Copeland taking on Minoru Suzuki, which didn’t seem to resonate to more viewership numbers for the promotion.

Given the competitive nature of the wrestling industry and television viewership, what strategies do you think AEW can employ to maintain or increase its viewership and demographic ratings in the future?
