Dolph Ziggler was released from WWE back in September and he waited for the right moment to spring into action, which turned out to be 2024. Booker T also had some odd comments to say about Ziggler’s release, due to which he got backlash. Now, Booker T finally decided to address the backlash he received.

Dolph Ziggler was viewed as one of the most underrated talent in WWE history, who was rarely booked well despite the fact that he won the World Title a couple of times and other titles to boot.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T addressed a statement he made about Dolph Ziggler during a kickoff show. He had mentioned that Ziggler might look back on his career and realize how many moments he missed because of his focus on stealing the show and wanting championship wins.

Booker T clarified that he was in character during that statement and acknowledged that Ziggler is not underrated. Instead, Booker T praised Ziggler, recognizing him as one of the best and an all-time great in the industry.

‘I made a statement one time on the kickoff show, when I’m on the kickoff show I’m working, I’m working. I said, ‘Dolph Ziggler’s gonna look back on his career and he’s gonna realize how many moments he missed because he always wanted to go out there steal the show, all the championship wins, all of that because he wanted to steal the show.’ Man they ate me up on Twitter for saying that. Haha, man, I’m working, I’m a character here. But nah man, Ziggler is not underrated. He is truly one of the guys that did it the best, he is truly one of the all-time greats.”

Dolph Ziggler recently debuted at TNA Hard to Kill and is determined to become the TNA World Champion. Fans expressed their excitement to see him in TNA, and there is anticipation to observe his journey and whether he will achieve World Champion status again.
