WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff isn’t the biggest fan of AEW. He doesn’t even believe AEW is contributing anything to the world of professional wrestling and has constantly been criticizing AEW over the past couple of years. In light of all this criticism, Cash Wheeler has now claimed that Bischoff is just mad that Tony Khan never gave him a job in AEW.

AEW President Tony found himself in another Twitter meltdown this week and this snowballed into him having yet another spat with Eric Bischoff. Ultimately, social media was divided over their discourse.

While speaking with Jeff Snyder, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler talked about why they signed with AEW. Harwood highlighted Tony Khan’s significant contributions, mentioning that people like Eric Bischoff wouldn’t have a podcast career without AEW.

He called out podcasters like Eric Bischoff, referring to them as “old-time, miserable podcasters” making a living by criticizing Tony and AEW. According to Harwood, AEW is thriving and bringing positive changes to professional wrestling.

“I don’t think Tony Khan gets the credit that he deserves because he afforded a lot of people, a lot of jobs, and a lot of income,” Dax Harwood said. “I mean, even if you look outside of AEW, you got all these old-time, miserable podcasters like Eric Bischoff and some of the others who make a living just by going on their podcasts and burying Tony and AEW when they know that AEW is a place where business is thriving.

Where AEW is a place that is helping change professional wrestling for the positive. So not only did Tony give us and hundreds of other people living. He’s afforded a living to some people who otherwise would be sitting miserable, bankrupt in their house.”

Cash Wheeler joined in, claiming that Bischoff might be upset for not receiving a job offer from Tony Khan after appearing on the show and collecting a paycheck, jokingly predicting “bankruptcy number four” for him.

I think he’s really mad that Tony wouldn’t give him a job the few times he was there to collect the paycheck,” Cash Wheeler said with a laugh. “Here comes bankruptcy number four!”

For the record, Eric Bischoff made it clear he would never embrace the opportunity to work in AEW and was not mad over Khan never giving him a job in AEW. Nonetheless, Eric Bischoff and Tony Khan are unlikely to see eye to eye ever again and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
