Bayley Extends an Invitation for AJ Lee to Eliminate Her at WWE Royal Rumble

Bayley respects many veterans in the business and that includes AJ Lee. After all, Lee has helped Bayley out in many ways. Interestingly enough, Bayley stated that she would let AJ Lee eliminate her from the WWE Royal Rumble match.

AJ Lee’s success story in WWE is truly remarkable, credited for playing a pivotal role in kickstarting WWE’s Women’s Revolution. She left pro wrestling back in 2015, immediately after WrestleMania 31. That didn’t stop Lee from sparking in-ring return rumors after she posted a recent photo with her old ring gear.

While speaking on Gabby AF, Bayley was asked about the potential Royal Rumble surprises for this year. She mentioned being ready to throw out anyone attempting a surprise entrance, expressing excitement about Mickie James’ possible return.

Bayley then named the likes of Lita and Trish Stratus but admitted that she would let AJ Lee eliminate her from the WWE Royal Rumble match if Lee came back.

”Whoever wants to do a surprise entrance, just get ready to get thrown out by me. Mickie James is always awesome, I would love to see her again. Her music hits hard.”

“Trish and Lita are always so fun to get those reactions, although they were just around not too long ago, still a good reaction.”

“In an interview I just had, they brought up AJ Lee since CM Punk is here. I wouldn’t mind that.”

“I might actually let her throw me over the top rope if she came back. That’s how much I respect her.”

AJ Lee also made it clear that she is still retired. Nonetheless, only time will tell whether the former WWE Superstar will end up making her return to the squared circle after 9 long years, as fans would go crazy.
