Oba Femi Declares Reign of Domination After North American Title Win on 1/9 WWE NXT

Oba Femi won the Men’s Breakout Tournament and earned the right to challenge for a title. He did just that on NXT this week and became the new champion. Now, Femi made it clear fans can expect utter domination during his reign.

The January 9th episode of WWE NXT saw Dragon Lee defend his NXT North American Title against Lexis King. Lee retained his title but the night wasn’t over yet as Oba Femi cashed in his contract to face Lee.

Oba Femi challenged Dragon Lee for the NXT North American Title and defeated Lee in very short match to become the new champion. Thus, he ushered in the new era of NXT with this move.

In a post-match interview, Femi was asked about his upcoming reign. The new NXT North American Champion outlined his expectations with just one word: Domination, promising nothing less than that.

”Domination.”

We will have to wait and see whether Oba Femi will truly be a dominant champion, as the sky is truly the limit for the 22-year-old breakout NXT Superstar. Fans are already getting behind him as well.
