There has been an update regarding WWE announcer Kevin Patrick, who took on a new role alongside Corey Graves as the commentary team for SmackDown after Michael Cole’s return to Raw alongside Wade Barrett at the beginning of the year.

According to reports from PW Insider, there are individuals within WWE who are closely monitoring Kevin Patrick’s performance, especially now that he is the lead play-by-play commentator for SmackDown without Michael Cole by his side.

There appears to be a sense within the company that Patrick needs to demonstrate his abilities and make a strong impression in his new role to solidify his position as the lead commentator for the blue brand.

The pressure is on for Kevin Patrick to prove himself as a reliable and capable play-by-play announcer on SmackDown, and it will be interesting to see how he fares in this pivotal role.
