LA Knight is on top of his game right now, and set to participate in the fatal four-way match at the Royal Rumble on January 27th. That will be a huge opportunity for him, and he has been through a lot so far to get to that point.

LA Knight was given the name Max Dupri by Vince McMahon when he made his way to the WWE main roster. That was not the brightest time for him in the pro wrestling business, and it was thanks to Vince McMahon.

While talking to Chris Van Vliet, LA Knight opened up about his time under Vince McMahon. He admitted that he was not happy during that time, because he had such a microscope on him.

“(Vince McMahon) had a vision for this thing that put such a microscope on it and I didn’t know what the hell it was… and it just wasn’t going well. I was very unhappy, and I’m sure he probably was, and then at some point it was just like all of a sudden I’m not on TV, and I’m like, well, I’m pretty sure I’m fired. I’m pretty sure this whole ride is over.”
