Pro wrestling fans know Jeff Hardy’s story well, and they have seen a lot of peaks and valleys along the way. The Charismatic Enigma’s issues with substance abuse have also been well-documented, but he is making efforts to focus on his health to be the best version of himself that he can possibly be.

Jeff Hardy was arrested on DUI charge in 2022, not long after he made his way into the Land of All Elite. That was a concerning situation, especially since police drew their guns on the tag team specialist at the time.

Matt Hardy replied to one fan who said that Jeff Hardy has been clean for almost a year now. Hardy stated that Jeff has been sober for about a year and a half at this point, and he has put priority into his sobriety as well.

Almost a year & a half. Jeff’s a different person & laser focused on his sobriety.

WWE ran angles with Jeff Hardy’s DUI in the forefront. That was seen as in bad taste by some, but he carried on. He eventually received his WWE release, and joined Matt Hardy in AEW.

Tony Khan may give the Hardys another run as tag team champions. This is a huge note on their dream board at this time. Only time will tell what is next for them in AEW, but they need to stay focused if they want to reach the top once again.

We are hoping for the best and wishing Jeff Hardy well, from everyone here at Ringside News. Hopefully, the entire Hardy Family can have a great 2024, in spite of some of the early headlines they’ve captured so far this year.
