AEW President Tony Khan doesn’t always appear after a show, but whenever he does it’s usually something special. This was especially the case after Dynamite went off the air this week, as Khan put over Daniel Garcia in a major way.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and the company made sure to kick off the new year in the right way by providing a worthwhile show for fans.

This included a singles bout between Daniel Garcia and Swerve Strickland, both of whom have been red hot following the Continental Classic. They put on a solid bout, which saw Strickland pick up the win.

After this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite went off the air, AEW President Tony Khan came out and greeted Daniel Garcia, before promising fans that they will be seeing Garcia in a more featured role this year.

“This man, Daniel Garcia. You’re gonna be seeing a lot of this guy in 2024, ladies and gentlemen.”

Daniel Garcia is one of the most talented in-ring competitors in the company right now and has seen a natural growth over the course of two years. We’ll have to wait and see how he will be booked after Tony Khan’s pledge.
