WWE released a number of Superstars in September. Although some, like Dolph Ziggler, ended up elsewhere already, one former talent doesn’t plan on getting back in the ring.

Former WWE star Rick Boogs was interviewed on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. During that conversation, Rock Boogs talked about his WWE run, his release and his future.

Rick Boogs was asked how he’s doing since his WWE release. It seems that he is doing just fine at this point in his life, as he is excited about what is next for him.

“I’m great. Yeah, I’m better than ever right now. I’m at. I mean, where do we want to start? Let’s talk about this. So basically, I started a YouTube channel. It’s like, I’m just gonna lead the interview.”

When Rick Boogs was asked if he plans to continue pro wrestling, he was quite blunt in his reply. He has no plan to get back in the ring, but if he wanted to, then he would.

“No. When I first decided I was going to do wrestling, pursue it, I had to be all in on something. So like, I was doing strength and conditioning stuff, personal training. I was like, if I’m gonna commit to this other endeavor, I just quit my job. I have a wife and a daughter. I just got unemployed for the sake of you know, getting hungry that I really wanted to make it happen, which my wife was not happy about. She was like, ‘Why did you have to quit?’”

We will have to see what Rick Boogs does next. He was also quite open about the idea that Vince McMahon leaving his position was a death blow for him.

Rick Boogs has multiple skills. He could also break into music with his guitar playing ability. Only time will tell if he gets back into the ring, but it’s not unheard of for ex WWE Superstars to make several returns before everything is said and done.

What’s your take on Rick Boogs never wrestling again? Do you think he will actually wrestle again, or is he done for good? Do you miss him in WWE? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
