Kevin Dunn was Vince McMahon’s right-hand man in production as the company’s longtime executive producer. He decided to leave WWE, one of the many changes that the company has been through in recent memory, but his exit did not go unnoticed at all.

PW Insider reports that there is internal discussion about Chris Kaiser, the WWE Executive Vice President of Television, potentially taking over Kevin Dunn’s role. Kaiser is a significant figure within WWE, and he has been for almost a decade. He has also been extensively involved in managing and overseeing television production for the company.

Kevin Dunn reportedly received acknowledgment during WWE’s talent meeting prior to the WWE Day 1 special episode of Monday Night RAW in San Diego. Nick Khan and Triple H praised Dunn, recognizing his multiple decades as a top producer behind the scenes.

The report suggested that while Kevin Dunn officially had the “rubber stamp” on decisions, Chris Kaiser has been actively involved in the day-to-day operations, making the transition relatively seamless.

One name that has been mentioned a lot internally as filling Dunn’s role is Chris Kaiser, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Television, PWInsider.com has been told.  Kaiser has been a big figure behind the scenes in the company for close to a decade and would be heavily involved in a lot of the management and overseeing of the TV production side of the company.  One person described it as Dunn having the “rubber stamp” officially on decisions but that Kaiser had been the one truly in the trenches in recent years.

During the meeting, Nick Khan specifically highlighted Dunn’s leadership with “strength” and expressed confidence that the company would continue to be “led with strength” in the future.

WWE already has some prime suspects for Kevin Dunn’s replacement. It appears that they will continue leading the company with strength. The company had a lot of things come to pass in 2023, and 2024 looks like it will be an eventful year as well.
