Pro wrestling fans have a lot of history that they can enjoy, but there is about to be even more out there. The Monday Night Wars contained hundreds of stories, and some of them may not have been told just yet. It seems that they are also in good hands.

The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions is going to put out a docuseries about WCW. That will apparently explore the demise of the famous pro wrestling company.

PW Insider reports that the new WCW series will be created by the same minds who brought us Dark Side of the Ring. That could be a winning combo.

The team behind Dark Side of the Ring are behind the potential WCW docuseries being developed by Seven Buck Productions in conjunction with The Rock. If they haven’t called Nitro author Guy Evans, they are insane. We have heard of several former WCW personalities contacted about potential involvement. There’s no word when they plan to start filming.

Although it may be said that the new demise of WCW docuseries may avoid certain things, Dark Side of the Ring has a reputation of dragging skeletons out of closets.

We will keep an eye on this new WCW docuseries. It might be very interesting to see what they come up with, because there are certainly a lot of angles that one could take when telling the story about World Championship Wrestling.
