WWE’s Day 1 RAW is going down tonight, and Ringside News can’t wait to bring you the headlines you need. The show is set to include big return, and we could be in for a historic moment.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE has some big plans for RAW’s surprise return this week. A former WWE Champion is returning, and they are expected to get some time during the second hour of the show.

It was also noted that The Rock was in Pasadena for College Gameday. That is just a couple of hours from WWE RAW’s location this week. It was reported that “when we brought that up to a WWE higher up, they said we made a compelling argument, but wouldn’t confirm or deny.”

With that being mentioned, the current situation raises more questions than it provides answers. Presently, the identification of a former WWE Champion remains uncertain at 100%, but clarity on the matter is expected to emerge shortly.

The Rock was last seen on WWE television when he stopped by SmackDown in Denver. He happened to be in the area, as he was at the Pat McAfee show, which was stationed in Boulder, Colorado that week.

We will have to see who WWE is able to bring back this week for the Day 1 RAW. If The Rock does return, it might not be a good idea to place any big money on an extensive return by any means.

For more on this subject, and so much more, please keep checking back with us here at Ringside News. You never know what can break next, but we will be here with the headlines you need.

Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our WWE Monday Night RAW coverage hub. It promises to be a memorable episode for many reasons, so it remains to be seen how the episode will turn out.
