The Iron Claw delighted audiences with their re-telling of the Von Erich Family’s story. Shortly afterward, someone else stole the show on social media, as the actor who played Ric Flair in the film was absolutely panned. Now, he is speaking out.

Aaron Dean Eisenberg shared his approach to portraying Ric Flair in “The Iron Claw.” He absolutely saw the negative reaction to the way he played The Nature Boy.

The film received positive reviews from both critics and fans, whether they were familiar with the story beforehand or not. Wrestling enthusiasts who watched the movie raised significant concerns about Aaron Dean Eisenberg’s depiction of Ric Flair.

While speaking on Man Cave Chronicles, Eisenberg explained his position on how he went about playing Ric Flair.

“It’s been interesting. I feel Flair is definitely an idol for some people, so they really hold him in high regard and sort of expect a certain thing for him. I’ve gotten a lot of love, but also a lot of hate, which is very new for me. It’s certainly a polarizing performance,”

Critics were incredibly ruthless online to Aaron Dean Eisenberg, even though he certainly gave his all. It just goes to show that you can’t make everyone happy.
