How Much Say MJF Has In His AEW Booking

MJF is one of the top names in AEW for a reason, and he worked hard to get to that point. He takes his character seriously, and that also goes for his creative.

The Salt of the Earth is constantly captivating fans with his ongoing stories in AEW. He apparently has a say in what Tony Khan books for him.

During a Q&A on Fightful’s paywall, Sean Sapp noted that MJF has a lot of say in what AEW books for him in creative. Tony Khan always has the final say, but MJF’s weight is apparently impressive when it comes to his creative direction.

No [MJF doesn’t have full control of his booking in AEW], but he has a lot of say in it. He has a lot of directive there.”

MJF is defending the AEW World Title against Samoa Joe at World End. That is a very interesting match, because The Devil will likely be a part of it. Joe aligned himself with The Devil on AEW Dynamite this week.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman had a fantastic reign as AEW World Champion already. That sparked a lot of interest within fans and brought a line of successful title defenses. It seems that MJF had a lot to do with that booking as well.
