Ex WWE Writer Says Rhea Ripley Is Killing Her Character With Comedy Angles

Rhea Ripley is in the middle of fantasic run in WWE, but there are still critics of her run. Sometimes, WWE can be perceived of not making the most of what she can bring to the table.

Rhea Ripley is set to battle Ivy Nile with the WWE Women’s World Title on the line during the Day 1 RAW on January 1st. She has a big match ahead of her, but Vince Russo doesn’t want her going into clown territory.

During The Brand Podcast, Vince Russo had some very straight-forward advice for Rhea Ripley. He claimed that she will end up ruining her character if she keeps doing comedy spots.

“Bro, you can’t, you’re killing Rhea Ripley when you’re having her do that spot. Rhea Ripley should not be doing f*cking comedy spots.”

Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley have had a lot of fun on television. This saw her get a ton of time on television, including segments where Dom and Rhea broke into Rey Mysterio’s home on Christmas and they went on to crash his Valentine’s Day dinner.

Rhea Ripley is also the WWE Women’s World Champion. He influence cannot be underestimated, nor can her presence and ability in the ring. Hopefully, WWE finds a happy medium.
