CM Punk Presented with Special Gift Following 12/26 WWE MSG Bout

CM Punk’s sensational return to WWE at Survivor Series last month has turned him into a major attraction, increasing excitement among fans. Recently, Punk made his in-ring return after a decade at the Madison Square Garden house show. Following the event, he received a very special gift, further adding to the significance of his comeback.

The world anxiously awaited CM Punk’s return to the WWE ring after a decade. Punk’s opponent for this comeback was Dominik Mysterio, unquestionably a good choice for Punk’s first match back.

In a 15-minute battle, the Second City Saint had a back-and-forth bout with Mysterio. When all was said and done, Punk put Dominik Mysterio down with a GTS for the win. Fans were naturally ecstatic to witness Punk’s victory in the bout.

WWE’s official Twitter account took to the social media platform and uploaded a video of CM Punk, receiving a special gift from Madison Square Garden itself for his first match in a decade. It was a wonderfully designed, custom-made plaque that commemorated Punk’s first match in 10 years. Naturally, CM Punk was happy to receive such a gift.

There was also a good reason behind CM Punk’s unconventional ring gear at Madison Square Garden.  The Madison Square Garden house show achieved record-breaking success for WWE, making it a monumental event in every aspect. It remains to be seen how Punk will be booked in the coming months, as we approach the Royal Rumble on January 27th, 2024.
