Cody Rhodes is certainly one of the most beloved stars in WWE right now. Cody’s natural charisma and relatable attitude have made him a fan-favorite in WWE. He gained more favor from fans over the past few weeks and now he ended up winning ESPN’s Male Wrestler of The Year award for this year.

The American Nightmare has never stopped becoming a major draw for WWE ever since he returned last year at WrestleMania 38. After all, Rhodes has continued to sell tons of merchandise over the past year.

Rhodes has consistently been featured in high-profile feuds this year, especially against the likes of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. While he was defeated by Reigns, he did manage to beat Lesnar in most of their trilogy bouts.

The American Nightmare has now been awarded the highly prestigious ESPN Male Wrestler of The Year Award for 2023, thanks to all of the incredible feuds and matches he has been a part of this year. He defeated the likes of Roman Reigns, MJF and Will Ospreay for the incredible award.
