CM Punk’s big return to WWE shocked the entire world. Now, he is set to have his first match back, and it is taking place in a very special venue.

CM Punk will wrestle Dominik Mysterio in Madison Square Garden tonight. This will be his first match in WWE since the 2014 Royal Rumble. His last actual match was at AEW All in London against Samoa Joe, a match that Punk won.

WWE cameras were there when CM Punk made his way to MSG. They documented the look on his face as he took in the venue, one that many consider the world’s most famous arena.

CM Punk seems concentrated, and ready to perform. He is also very excited to soak in the moment as he makes his triumphant return to a WWE ring.

CM Punk admitted that it feels strange to have this big match. There will likely be many more coming for him in WWE during this run, if he can keep things going. Only time will tell what is in CM Punk’s future in WWE.

CM Punk will take on Dominik Mysterio in MSG tonight, and then again at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles on December 30th. We will have coverage of those matches here at Ringside News, just in case something happens.
