Pro wrestlers give it their all in the ring, and that can open the door for injuries. Sadly, a star who could be a breakout talent for AEW is now dealing with a bit of a physical setback. Now, Bandido is forced to face another trying period of rehabbing after surgery.

We previously reported in June that Bandido broke his wrist. Things did not heal well for him, and he had to go under the knife once again, costing him even more time from the ring.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Bandido underwent his second wrist surgery on December 16th. At this stage, his anticipated timeline for a return is tentatively set for May, with a hopeful target of April.

Bandido had his second wrist surgery on 12/16. As noted previously, his left wrist didn’t heal properly from the first surgery. He had considered not having surgery but then he would be working the rest of his career on a messed up wrist. The time line for a return we were told is probably May but hopeful for April

This is not what Bandido wanted at all. Obviously, the plan was for his wrist to heal up after that surgery in June. Now, he must wait even longer, meaning he will be out of action for nearly a year due to that issue.

We’re sending out our best to Bandido, because he really has a ton of potential in pro wrestling. Hopefully, he can heal up fast, so he can compete at 100% once again in Tony Khan’s company.

What’s your take on Bandido’s injury? Will you miss seeing him if he has to take a break? Sound off in the comments!
