Matt Riddle became a controversial name in WWE because of his problematic actions outside the squared circle, which led to him getting released from the company. He is clearly setting up a busy 2024 as Riddle recently unveiled he plans on returning to the world of MMA soon.

Matt Riddle officially confirmed WWE fired him back in September, and he almost immediately got interest from other wrestling promotions after his release. He also purchased new car and started his own business venture afterwards.

In case you didn’t know, Matt Riddle was a star in the UFC during the early to mid-2010s, establishing himself as a legitimate fighter. However, he was eventually fired from the UFC due to his love for marijuana.

While speaking to MMA Junkie on the red carpet of the 15th Annual World MMA Awards in Las Vegas, The Original Bro was asked about a return to MMA. Riddle confirmed that he has already spoken to people and that there is a big possibility he will be in the Octagon next year.

Matt Riddle is also open to squaring off against Jake Paul in boxing match. Riddle will also face RVD next year in the highly anticipated matchup. We’ll have to wait and see which major company he will end up in next.
