Impact Wrestling is rebranding into TNA Wrestling, and that will come with a few changes. Now, we know that their ring announcer has changed as well.
Jade Chung has taken on a new role as the ring announcer for TNA Wrestling, marking a notable transition following the departure of David Penzer after IMPACT Final Resolution. This announcement was initially shared on Fightful’s In The Weeds platform, bringing attention to the changing landscape within the wrestling promotion.
Jade Chung is also the wife of Josh Alexander, and she has been a familiar face on IMPACT television, not only through her association with Alexander in various storylines but also as a member of the broadcast team. Despite her history as an active wrestler, Chung has refrained from entering the ring since 2019.
The shift in personnel comes at a pivotal time for the wrestling promotion, as IMPACT Wrestling is gearing up for an official rebranding, returning to its roots as TNA Wrestling. This transformation is scheduled to unfold during the TNA Hard To Kill event, set to take place on January 13th.
As TNA Wrestling readies itself for this exciting evolution, Jade Chung’s new role as the ring announcer adds another layer to the unfolding narrative within the promotion. With her past experiences both inside and outside the ring, Chung brings a unique perspective and presence to her position, contributing to the dynamic atmosphere of TNA Wrestling.
We will have to see how this new role works out for Jade Chung. WWE has seen success with female ring announcers, and now Jade Chung will join those names, but as a part of TNA Wrestling.
